Sharon Osbourne broke down in tears as she remembered George Michael during Sunday night’s X Factor.
The late pop star’s music was the theme of this weekend’s instalments of the ITV singing competition.
Former Wham! star Michael died aged 53 on Christmas Day 2016.
X Factor hopeful Lloyd Macey gave a stunning rendition of Michael’s A Different Corner, reducing Osbourne to tears.
“It just makes me think of George and I miss him so much,” she explained, as she wiped her eyes.
Fellow judge Nicole Scherzinger said: “I didn’t even know George and now I’m going to start crying and miss him too!”
Viewers of the ITV show were also impressed by Macey’s performance.
“Wow Lloyd was AMAZING! My Favourite #georgemichael tribute! Love him!” said one fan on Twitter.
