Not really prostrate - these plants semed to have piled up into a tangled mass - look more bushy to me.

Then I also followed a link to JSTOR https://plants.jstor.org/compilation/MESEMBRYANTHEMUM.geminiflorum which is a synonym listed by the Red List - Mesembryanthemum geminatum Jacq. (later homonym), not of Haw. (1803), Mesembryanthemum geminatum Salm-Dyck, Mesembryanthemum geminiflorum Haw.
