Not a common organism, very hard to spot and much smaller than web references suggest.

I could not find it in its more mature state and my microscopy is not up to Asco-spores.

There are a number of Other Observations which cannot be mistaken for anything else, though this is the first true E.baconii. I suspect those IDd as Epichloë typhina may not be absolutely correct.
