This is a hybrid between a dry erase and wet erase type ink, so it does not erase without a little effort but does not require a liquid to clean it off an appropriate surface. The tip is fine, it's like writing with a pen, but does need a bit of 'breaking in' to get a smooth ink flow. I was in love with this pen the first time I used it, and it's perfect for my needs. I like to keep a 'white board' aka a laminated sheet of paper in my planner to have as a reusable memo pad. The ink doesn't rub off while the planner is in transit, and always comes off with a bit of rubbing from the eraser on the end. The eraser is very convenient, and works, and really makes throwing this in a pencil case easy as you do not have to bring 'accessories' like you would for a traditional wet or dry erase pen. I do not know how long the ink lasts, yet, so while I do wish it was refillable I believe the pen will last me fairly long.

It's good if you're using this for a planner's dashboard. You wouldn't want the dry erase to smudge on your planner. the eraser itself is okay. if you really want a nice clean, I recommend lysol wipes.

When the pen works the ink is super fine and looks just like ultra fine sharpie ink—but it takes a lot of work just for ink to come out. I have to hold it at a certain angle and even then sometimes it doesn’t work. Also, the only way to erase the ink is to use the small felt nub attached to it or isopropyl, no other felt erasers work as they’re not hard enough to ‘scrape’ the ink off. I’ve only used the pen twice and im ready to toss it—purchase regret!

Love the fine (very fine) tip of this dry erase pen, it's surprisingly difficult to find a quality dry erase pen that doesn't put down a very bold, fat line. But the eraser is another matter. So I just grab a separate dry eraser because the one on this pen takes 3x the effort it should. Dunno why it's substandard, but when my own finger provides stronger erasing capabilities, well, this is not an eraser I can vouch for. However, the marker itself is great, especially if you use a very small board, like I do. Definitely a pen I'll want to throw into my cart for future JP orders-- as I don't want to be without one.

I like that this doesn't erase or wipe off super easily with a sleeve brush or other touch. However it does come off a little smudgey and I need to use alcohol to get the surface really clean.
