This glitter ink is so hard to see! I tried it on black, on white, and on mid-tone paper and unless you have the paper tilted the right way where the glitter catches the light you can barely read what you've written! This would be a horrible pen for addressing envelopes or writing anything aside from secret messages that you want someone to have to work to see.

If you're looking for THE gold pen buy the Uni ball Signo silver (not glitter silver). That one lays down a fabulous, very visible line that looks great on dark paper and on white. You can thank me later. :)

The Uni-ball Signo "glitter" series is truly that, very glittery. They impart what might best be described as being like a line of glitter on the paper. The pen writes smoothly over a variety of paper and envelopes, the glitter ink is bright and crisp. It does take just a few extra moments to be completely dry than compared to other inks. It's got a lot of shimmer and sparkle, it's excellent if that is what you are looking for.

I've noticed that if you also have pencil in the same area and need to do some erasing, sometimes this pen smears or the ink gets picked up in a kneaded erasure (depending upon what you are doing with it). Do your erasing first, before you use this pen.

An actual glitter silver. So many try but fail to come up with silver glitter ink and they all color like metallic. Not these. They are glitter.
