Walmart Class Action Lawsuit Allegations

According to the class action lawsuit, Walmart carried out several actions that resulted in consumers paying more than necessary for weighted groceries:

• Inflated Product Weights: As per the complaint, Walmart allegedly misrepresented the weight of some goods, causing consumers to overpay for things that didn’t weigh that much.
• Mislabeling of Weight: According to the lawsuit, Walmart misweighed the fruits and vegetables in their bags, causing consumers to overpay for the actual weight of the goods.

Walmart Class Action Lawsuit Settlement Final Approval

A settlement might go through as long as the Middle District of Florida, US District Court gives its final clearance. June 12, 2024, is the date set for the final approval hearing. Payments will be distributed to qualifying claimants after the settlement administrator receives court approval.
