Climacocystis borealis These fruiting bodies were sopping wet, like sponges. When I picked a piece off, the water dripped all down my arm.<br /> <br /> Fruiting bodies were cream-colored with a pale margin. They were very hairy and soft. The pores were white with irregular and angular pore openings. This fungus is saprophytic and parasitic.
