"Dardanus megistos", the white-spotted hermit crab or spotted hermit crab, is a species of hermit crab, living in reefs in the Indo-Pacific region from Africa to the South China Sea and Hawaii. "Dardanus megistos" can attain a maximum size of 8 inches.
