White-spotted hermit crab - Dardanus megistos

Mandarin House Reef, Lembeh. The largest hermit crab I have found so far!
Max length: 20 cm and can live up to 30 years!

"Dardanus megistos", the white-spotted hermit crab or spotted hermit crab, is a species of hermit crab, living in reefs in the Indo-Pacific region from Africa to the South China Sea and Hawaii. "Dardanus megistos" can attain a maximum size of 8 inches.
