Ducati Motor Holding S.p.A. (NYSE: DMH, Borsa Italiana S.p.A.: DMH), a leading manufacturer of high performance motorcycles, today announced that Carlo Di Biagio, Director of Finance and Administration, has been elected Chief Executive Officer of Ducati Motor Holding S.p.A. by the Board of Directors.

Federico Minoli will remain Chairman of the Board of Directors, President of Ducati North America and Chief Executive Officer of Ducati.com S.p.A., Ducati’s recently launched internet division which is building a vertical portal dedicated to the Ducati brand and lifestyle.

“Carlo has been an integral part of the turnaround team that successfully re-launched the Ducati business during the last four years. His new position underscores our faith that he is the right person to continue to build the Ducati global brand in the years ahead and deliver the financial results that we have promised to the financial community,” said Federico Minoli, Ducati Chairman.

Carlo Di Biagio has been Director of Finance and Administration at Ducati Motor Holding S.p.A. since May 1997. Before that, he held various executive level positions at Procter & Gamble. He was manager of the international treasury department at P&G in Cincinnati, and was Director of Finance and Administration and member of the Board of Directors of Procter & Gamble Italia. From 1992 to 1997, Mr. Di Biagio was Chief Executive Officer of the Italian food producer, Cesare Fiorucci S.p.A. in Rome.

Carlo Di Biagio’s replacement as Director of Finance and Administration will be announced shortly.
