Eucomis

Often called ‘Pineapple Lily’. Originated in South Africa. Waxy type of flower on a tall flower spike. Can be used as a cut flower, lasts several weeks. Does well in pots.

Height - up to 0.5m
Plant - neck of the bulb at ground level
Soil - well drained but moist 
Aspect - full sun to light shade
Fertiliser - in spring/summer
Watering - regular watering
Flowering - Feb through to April
