We stayed at the Marriott for one week and it was very lovely. The location was good - close to Sliema shopping and walks along the water. There are hundreds of restaurants and cafes so that was nice too. The rooms are spacious and the balcony views are stunning. We were there five nights and I noticed there is not a great option for unpacking - no chest with drawers. The closet is good for hanging things and shoes. The décor has a modern and clean feel - I loved that. The staff were lovely - always saying hello and checking in. The buffet breakfast is an incredible spread, in true Marriott fashion, and I looked forward to it everyday. We had a very good week. There were a couple of downsides that I would watch for next time: 1. It was February and we booked the Marriott for a family fun week, thinking that we could have some chill days with our 12 year old. Unfortunately the indoor pool is closed during the day for children - it is only open for adults. At 6pm when the children are allowed, it is very busy! That was a huge disappointment for us as we had saved the Marriott until the end for the swimming. It would have impacted my hotel choice. 2. Our beds were not great. Both of them had a "lean" to one side and I think they may just be at the end of their life. We didn't want to ask to change because of our perfect balcony and sea view. Thanks to the team for a good week.
