Seahawks player's car breaks down in traffic, cussed out by fan

When he's out on the street and not in uniform, Clint Gresham blends in.
Dec 21, 2014; Glendale, AZ, USA; Seattle Seahawks center Clint Gresham (49) against the Arizona Cardinals at University of Phoenix Stadium. The Seahawks defeated the Cardinals 35-6.

SEATTLE – When he's wearing his No. 49 jersey at CenturyLink Field, Seahawks fans know Clint Gresham. Just like with most of his teammates, fans love him.

But when he's out on the street, the Seahawks' long snapper blends in.

Such seemed to be the case this week when Gresham's car broke down in Downtown Bellevue. He said another driver with a Seahawks sticker on his car decided got upset and lobbed a swear word or two.

"Nothing like having ur car breakdown in the middle of traffic & having a guy drive past you & cuss you out with a Hawks sticker on his car," Gresham Tweeted Monday.

Gresham later said the car broke down in front of the offensive fan, causing that driver to make a "slight adjustment to get around me."

When we posted this on Facebook, some people called out the driver for just being rude regardless of his fandom. However the usual Seahawks "bandwagon" fan accusation showed up with some suggesting a non-"bandwagon" fan would have recognized Gresham.

Let's be honest. How many fans -- "bandwagon" or not -- know the face of every Seahawks player when they aren't in uniform?
