La Caravelle Champagne Chief Bubble Officer, Rita Jammet will also join the party alongside The FIZZ is Female founder, Blaine Ashley alongside JC Select Wines owner/founder, Jenn Carruthers.

Chief Bubble Officer of La Caravelle Champagne, Rita Jammet is back at it this year with another TOP chef in tow, Michael Anthony of the acclaimed Gramercy Tavern, for an evening of our upgraded version of ‘Netflix & Chill’ …‘Grill & Chill’ : a cheeseburger and champagne fueled bash.

This isn't just any burger! This is the legendary Gramercy Tavern burger! And, we're shipping a pack of four of them nationwide alongside La Caravelle Cuvée Niña and Rosé champagnes.

And, the best part is .. these bubbles & burgers benefit a good cause -- God’s Love We Deliver, a NY-based charitable service that cooks and home-delivers nutritious, medically tailored meals for people too sick to shop or cook for themselves.

The Gramercy Tavern Burger is a 70/30 chuck/brisket beef blend, chopped daily in the Gramercy Tavern kitchen from a collective of farms in upstate New York and Vermont. The buns are brought in from Orwasher’s Bakery. Added for extra delicious measure is a slice of Shelburne Cheddar, multiple pieces of belly-cut bacon, all topped with Gramercy Tavern’s signature smoked onion aioli, creating what many believe is the best burger found anywhere in New York City.

And now, you may relish in it, in your very own home and during the 8th Annual New York Champagne Week, with La Caravelle Champagne in hand!

Fried Chicken and Champagne Fête featuring La Caravelle Champagne

Harlem sensations, Rita Jammet of La Caravelle Champagne and Marcus Samuelson of Red Rooster team up for New York Champagne Week’s Friday night “Fried Chicken and Champagne Fête”. A perfect pairing experience for a date night in or at home dinner party with friends. This winning combo is nothing short of spectacular. 

All event attendees will enjoy a guided champagne and fried chicken tasting experience led by Rita Jammet featuring La Caravelle Cuvée Nina and Champagne Rosé. 

And, for the fried chicken aspect of this delectable tasting experience? This recipe took years to develop and was the star of Streetbird’s menu, and is now exclusive to Goldbelly! It starts with chicken that’s marinated in buttermilk and hot sauce before being dredged in a mixture that includes cornmeal, garlic, onion and paprika and fried until golden brown and delicious. It’s served with a crisp cornbread waffle, hot honey, housemade pickles and seasonal succotash.

Marcus Samuelsson is one of America’s most renowned and talented chefs. He was the youngest chef to earn three stars from the New York Times, helped spark a Harlem culinary renaissance with Red Rooster, has written multiple best-selling books and won “Top Chef Masters” as well as six James Beard Awards.
