“Little Women” lights the stage
Lake Forest College’s Department of Theater and Music presents “Little Women the Musical,” starting March 27 at the Hixon Hall Theater.
A delightful adaptation of Louisa May Alcott’s classic youth-coming-of-age novel about the adventures of the four March sisters–Meg, Jo, Beth, and Amy–as they make the transition from adolescence into adulthood. The music deepens each memorable moment of this wonderful story.
With a book by Allan Knee, music by Jason Howland and lyrics by Mindi Dickstein, this show is sure to charm young and old alike.
Performances on Thursday, March 27; Friday, March 28; Saturday, March 29; Thursday, April 3; Friday, April 4; and Saturday, April 5.
All performances start at 7:30 p.m. in the Allan Carr Theatre, Hixon Hall, on South Campus.
DIRECTIONS: The Allan Carr Theatre is located in Hixon Hall at 555 N. Sheridan Road, on Lake Forest College’s South Campus, near the corner of Sheridan Road & Maplewood Road. Parking is located in the Maplewood Road parking lot. On campus, Hixon Hall is located behind Moore Hall and just north of the Maplewood Road parking lot.
TICKET PRICES: Free for Lake Forest College students, faculty, and staff with ID; $3.00 other students, alumni, and senior citizens; and $7.00 for non-affiliated adults.
