Melicope rubra Blush PBR is a versatile native tree with glossy green foliage. It displays stunning deep pink coloured flowers along the stems and branches. After flowering, green spherical fruit can form giving off an aroma attracting possums and the like. Melicope rubra Blush PBR is a fast growing tree that is a perfect inclusion in backyards and community areas. It is known to attract many insects and butterflies, including the Ulysses and Orchard Swallow Tail butterflies.
Grown to cope in diverse environmental conditions, including North Queensland’s hot humidity down to Sydney’s cooler climate and even thrives in windswept coastal areas. Reaching anywhere from 4-8m in height, Melicope rubra Blush enjoys full sun and partial shade positions.
