HISTORY OF THE ESTATE

Surrounded by prestigious AOC Sauternes wines, the Grands Vignobles Loubrie vines are located in Fargues de Langon, at an altitude of 50 meters and are planted on pebble and gravel soil. The grape varieties of the 3.96 ha of this estate are traditional the AOC SAUTERNES with 85% Sémillon, 10% Sauvignon and 5% Muscadelle. Constant and attentive care is given to the vines (pruning, amendments, trellising height, manual leaf stripping) in order to obtain high quality grapes. The manual harvest is done by successive sorting and the botrytised grapes are collected candied.
