The last 12 months have been tough for a lot of companies, especially in the tech sector and inside the revenue org. There’s been a lot of contraction. But in the next 18 months, I think we will see recovery, and with it, an increase in hiring and budget allocations. As companies start to hire back, the best ones will be the companies that have consistency and repeatability in how they engage with their prospects and customers and convert those interactions into revenue. The best companies are going to be the ones that harness platforms like Salesloft to bring that consistency and repeatability to their revenue org before they scale back up.

However, because of the extreme complexity around their Sales segmentation, it took at least two ops people to manage over 100 lines of Lead assignment rules. And anytime there was a business change, they had to enlist the help of developers to go through several code changes, testing, and deployment. Therefore, Cat was given the charter to lead implementation of LeanData at Zoom - enlisting a group of volunteers, Cat and team went through over 1,000+ test cases, hundreds of hours of collaboration internally and externally, and three months preparation before successfully launching the product. What used to take two ops people, a team of developers, and three months now took one ops person and two weeks to make a business change to the system.
