As we start the new year, we celebrate the retirement of our beloved Director of Golf, Greg Jones. During his 20-year tenure at BCC, Greg impacted the lives of our members, staff, vendors, and business partners. Greg’s strong character and integrity showed through his commitment to exceptional service and unwavering heightened standards of care at the Club. As a PGA Professional, Greg has become a role model who always takes strides to serve the lives of others by empowering children through the game of golf with the First Tee of Baltimore. Furthermore, he led the establishment of the Caddie Program at Baltimore Country Club, successfully producing the State of Maryland’s first-ever Evans Scholar. Moreover, five BCC caddies have received the life-changing Evans Scholarship through Greg’s tenure. He will now assume the role of Pro-Emeritus, continuing his work with the First Tee and Evans Scholar programs for BCC. Upon conclusion of Greg's Emeritus role and to express their heartfelt appreciation for his unparalleled service, the Board of Governors extended Greg and his wife Kathy the invitation to Honorary Club Membership. We thank Greg for everything he has done for BCC and look forward to seeing him in his new role. 💚 ⛳   #bcc1898 #GPMFP #fivefarms #golf #staff #gratitude #chooseclubs #retirement #congrats

First Class Gentleman. One of the best in the business and the best Golf Pro I ever worked with.

Greg, certainly a wonderful service at a simply wonderful Club, courses, and membership as I enjoyed playing there a few times and the Professional Shop and upstairs Indoor bays were well ahead of their time, and your outstanding Instruction Program and Teaching Staff; and it certainly takes a strong leader leading the Team to make these things happen. Blessings & Birdies

IMO - Honorary Club membership is the greatest form of respect that a Club can award a PGA MEMBER for their years of service. All leadership positions in the golf industry are difficult on all aspects of one’s life and obviously the BCC respects the SERVICE that Greg gave the club & its members. All the best in your future endeavours Greg Cheers
