A jornada é mais importante do que o destino. 👟
‘Journey is more important than the destination’, I wrote this sentence more than a decade ago when I started learning Portuguese.
Who would have thought it would become my mantra to hold on to for life?
I didn't, but it happened. Not everyone knows where they want to end exactly and some prefer to connect the dots through introspection while still being on the road. Such is my case.
My journey at Bolt ended two weeks ago after completing four fruitful years. A friendly farewell to the company that gave me so many amazing co-workers, opportunities to grow, and an environment to thrive. I am lucky and appreciate my friend who suggested that I should apply to Bolt back in 2019.
I have achieved notable accomplishments showcasing my diverse skill sets at Bolt.
🎧 Customer Support & Safety
Resolving complex customer issues, ensuring their utmost satisfaction, and fostering their long-lasting relationships with the product. Additionally, being part of the Customer Support Safety Team allowed me to deal with high-priority cases where every minute was crucial to cater to the needs of our drivers and passengers in case of an emergency.
🔎 Operations Coordinator, Compliance Team
Ensuring adherence to industry regulations and internal policies, contributing to a secure and ethical driver onboarding. Making sure that those who want to work as a driver on the Bolt platform get all the necessary prerequisites right and keep a check ensuring quality service without comprising due diligence.
🔊 Internal Communication Specialist
Moreover, Internal Communications has been the most exciting chapter so far. The role enabled me to develop and put in place effective communication strategies, fostering collaboration and engagement across the organization.
I can proudly say, we established a channel framework on #slack workspace, created offline safety posters, and leaflets, and worked towards quality information management for frontline workers. Besides that, I did so many ad-hoc projects like ownership of office visits to Bolt HQ, preparing the Alumni group, and helping DEI and Infosec with internal campaigns for creating awareness.
I want to thank all co-workers, managers, and stakeholders with whom I have worked so far. Special thanks to the PR and Internal Communication team for believing in me. 💚
What’s next? I don’t know yet, I am currently enjoying the beautiful Estonian summer. I have a pile of ‘To be read’ books awaiting me.
Meanwhile, here is a photo of me trying graffiti. 😄
