"Japan was incredible, and I cannot imagine seeing it in any other setting. It was so special to experience the country through the eyes of my #MBA classmates. They shared their favourite places, foods, and traditions with us. Over the course of the week, I had the chance to form strong bonds with classmates that I hadn’t before and there is nothing better than that! Christine Dubbert shares a global trek to Japan, as part of her MBA year in Cambridge. #MBA #Bschool #Global #adventures #Japan #CambridgeMBA #CJBS Cambridge Judge Business School

Smiled after stopping by 1 Million Cups Salt Lake City today to watch time and space collapse in Ronald’s 🇵🇪 passionate presentation of how his team at Impact Startup Competition is helping students, universities and businesses think globally, while acting locally in Peru across 100 universities. He was part of a YLAI / Young Leaders of the Americas Initiative fellowship I had the pleasure to meet this morning, along with Walter Simón and Sindy C. Molina 🇬🇹. ⏳🌍 Time: while Shadrac 🇨🇩 was a student at the University of Iowa, Kenneth G. Brown introduced us to Young African Leadership Initiative Mandela Washington Fellows, and we’d eventually help fellow Africans like Siboniyo and Nalituba foster American relations and best practices, better and faster with some programmatic cultural translation. 🔭🌎Space: The more I’ve learned about the vast opportunity that exists between the intersections of learning and working, the more I’m humbled by everyone working on the same problem in their own corner of the world. It’s like running into distant relatives to hear their localized approaches, and I’m excited to see unique usages of technology and community development produce unique and diverse solutions to educate, upskill, and employ future learners and workers. 💡Hopefully AI will expand this faster, and make these learnings accessible to more people than ever. Translated collaboration alone opens some floodgates of exchnage, for example. #Education #EconomicDevelopment #HumanCapital #GlobalImpact #CommunityDevelopment

One of the most fulfilling aspects for me of being a professor is witnessing a student's rise to success. I remember Merel Seghers, starting with a simple, yet profound question on gender share in leadership and the stereotypes that come in between. From those first beginnings, she evolved into a diligent researcher, proactively seeking insights from top-tier industry leaders. 👉 Her master's thesis goes beyond just documenting gender stereotypes — she not only sheds light on the various gender stereotypes but offers valuable insights for HR professionals on bridging these gaps with the right culture initiatives. 💪 As she steps into the next chapter, keep an eye on Merel — she's set to become the next HR executive championing an inclusive workspace. #NextGenLeaders #GenderEquality #HRInnovation #InclusiveWorkspace #StudentSuccess #leadership #FutureOfWork #academicachievements #bridginggaps #CultureInitiatives
🎓🇪🇸 Happy to announce that I graduated from Charles III University of Madrid with a GPA of 8.32 and that I obtained my Master diploma in Human Resource Management. I finished this year with my Master's thesis on the topic "perceived gender stereotypes on the career path of women to senior leadership roles," and received a grade of 9.0. Researching this topic brought me to new perspectives on HR and, in general, for future female leaders. I want to thank Dr. Nicolas T. Deuschel for his guidance and valuable insights. What a year it has been! This was an unforgettable experience where I met amazing people from different cultures and got to know Madrid as if it was my own city. I even got to learn a bit of Spanish. I want to thank everybody for supporting me during this journey. Hesitating to go abroad? Go! Since this year has been so valuable, I want to further develop myself and explore the world. Therefore, I am going to travel through Middle South America from November onwards. Should you have an interest in reading my thesis or just want to have a talk about it, please let me know. There is never too much to share!
