Rex Mill Middle STEM School Prinicipal Jarrett Proctor 7th Grade Team 6380 Evans Dr. Rex, Ga 30273 (770) 474- 0702 April 19th, 2024 Frito Lays and PepsiCo Dear Mr. Steven Williams CEO On behalf of the scholars in the seventh grade who attend Rex Mill Middle STEM school, we are writing to you. At the moment, more than 90% of our student body is eligible for free or reduced lunch. There are 360 scholars enrolled in the seventh grade at this time. Rapper Alyssa Stephens, also known as Latto, and Alieka Anderson Commissioner both previously attended this school. Since then, Clayton County Public Schools has acknowledged her for her charitable work and given her a key to the city. We are requesting that The FritoLays and PepsiCo Foundation take into consideration contributing to our field day 2024 or 2025 events in order to continue supporting scholars such as Latto. The majority of our kids come from low-income families. This year, these children have put in a great deal of effort to get ready for the Georgia Milestone Assessments. On Thursday, May 16, 2024, we hope to assist them in celebrating their accomplishments with a field day akin to a carnival.
