India takes the initiative for hosting a United Nations Forum on Forests (UNFF) meeting, at @FRIDEHRADUN, from October 26 to 28. More than 30 countries and 20 organizations from different parts of the world are participating. The UNFF meeting at @FRIDEHRADUN will focus on two thematic areas: 1.Forest fires/wildfires 2.Forest certification and sustainable forest management It will promote the sharing of good practices, and contribute to the 19th session of the United Nations Forum on Forests to be held at the UN headquarters.
