Just over a year ago, I received the Singapore AIMA / CAIA Scholarship Award to attempt the CAIA Charter. Today, I am happy to announce the successful completion of both examinations and receipt of the CAIA Charter. Thank you Peter Douglas, William J. Kelly, Joanne Murphy, and Wendy Leung from the CAIA Association, Michael Bugel and Kher Sheng LEE (李可胜) from AIMA - The Alternative Investment Management Association, and my colleagues at Dymon Asia Capital for this great journey and learning opportunity.

Today, I finished my Executive Master of Science in Global Finance with NYU Stern and HKUST Business School. For my concentration, our team conducted a deep-dive into Fourier Analysis and its application to financial markets. A huge thank you to all the teaching faculties, administrative staff, project members, and classmates who have all in unique ways served as inspirational role models. #MSGF #nyustern #hkust

Breaking away from the usual hiring process, the recruitment for Tangent Apprentices began in January without requiring job seekers to have the prerequisite educational qualifications, work experience in finance or submit their resumes from the onset. Tangent Apprentices started their first day of work at Dymon on Wednesday 1 August. Dymon Asia's unusual move to try a different method of hiring is motivated by the belief in the need for diversity in its workforce. These eight apprentices were chosen from a pool of 1,200 candidates under #GoTangentSg, a flagship initiative of The Majurity Trust.
