What an incredible week at #CERAWeek 2024! The energy, insights, and commitments shared have truly ignited our drive toward a sustainable and inclusive energy future that includes the fossil fuel industry. Here are some impactful quotes and takeaways that resonated with me: "Government should be your partner, not your provider." "When it comes to climate policies, don't let the perfect be the enemy of the good." "You can't eliminate to get to a cleaner energy future, you must innovate." "The LNG export pause is causing our allies to run to our enemies for energy." "Attitudes in the US toward nuclear energy are changing." Day 4 of #CERAWeek was truly exhilarating! From Bill Gates' visionary discussions on investments in clean energy, climate technologies, and nuclear energy, to Van Jones' inspiring championing of the First Step Act, and Walter Isaacson's enlightening insights on Elon Musk, the day was packed with remarkable highlights! What an incredible event showcasing the best in innovation, leadership, and transformative ideas!

Day 3 of #CERAWeek topped off by an amazing Women in Energy Dinner! So inspiring to hear these ladies stories!

I appreciate the honest and candid dialogue had during the #CERAWeek Climate Philanthropy panel.  Here are the top three themes that emerged:   1️⃣Understanding and valuing all stakeholders, from CEOs to communities, is key to aligning economic, environmental, and social goals.   2️⃣The journey towards a more sustainable energy future is not a zero-sum game between industry and environmental advocates.   3️⃣There is a need for trust-building spaces for practical discussions away from extremes, seeking common, pragmatic solutions.   Excellent moderation of the discussion @Brendonsteele with @Future500

#CERAWeek Day 2 - Leadership dialogue with Chevron CEO, Mike Wirth, several panels on Energy security, markets, cleantech, CCS, minerals, and then ended the evening with a geopolitical discussion on China, Russia, and the Middle East. Discussions on affordable, reliable and clean fuel policies and balanced energy portfolios long into the future. On to Day 3!

CERAWeek Day 1 quick recap: Panels on Energy companies of the future, navigating the politics of Climate ambition, and innovating the energy mix. Interesting discussion with John Podesta, especially on LNG, and really exciting/reallistic conversation with Sen Joe Manchin! Of course the highlight of the day was the API Women in Energy reception featuring Amanda Eversole and Maryann Mannen! Must rest up for Day 2 tomorrow…#ceraweek

Excited to have recently spoken at the California Women's Energy Network event about California's Race to Net Zero! I loved the fireside chat held with my esteemed colleague @LynnMcguire!
