Another great Exploring Economies trip to Phoenix. Thanks to the Charlotte Regional Business Alliance team for all their hard work to make this such a successful trip.
Greeting from the Valley of the Sun! The CLT Alliance is in #Phoenix this week for our annual Exploring Economies trip. For the next two days, a delegation of 130 leaders from across the Charlotte Region’s #business community will be exploring Greater Phoenix to learn firsthand why so many people and companies are choosing Arizona’s urban heart. To follow along with our adventures, check out LinkedIn, Instagram (@cltalliance), and X (@cltalliance) platforms, using the hashtag #CLTAllianceEE. Exciting News from Balfour Beatty US! We're thrilled to announce that our team, in collaboration with Perkins&Will, has secured second place in the Charlotte Center City Partners competition! Our innovative proposal reimagines the First Citizens Plaza at 128 S Tryon St as a multifaceted space, blending residential units, retail, university space, an artist gallery, and health & wellness facilities. This $137.7 million project is more than a building transformation – it's a step towards revitalizing our community and enriching lives. We're committed to creating spaces that not only meet the needs of today but also inspire the generations of tomorrow. We’re also excited that we'll be the ones bringing MRP Realty, SK+I Architecture, and Asana Partners winning proposal to life at 526 South Church Street. A big thank you to Charlotte Center City Partners for this opportunity and congratulations to all participants who shared their visionary ideas for uptown Charlotte's aging office properties. Together, we're shaping a vibrant and sustainable future! #balfourbeatty #innovation #communitydevelopment

Looking forward to tonight!! Balfour Beatty US Redline Design Group
The best general contractors and architect firms team up tonight not to build spectacular buildings, but to create spectacular meals. Which team will take home the trophy and be named best chefs in Charlotte? I cannot wait to find out.

We are honored to announce our donation of construction services to deliver the Mother Emanuel Foundation’s Emanuel Nine Memorial in downtown Charleston. On the grounds of Mother Emanuel AME Church, the 30,000-square-foot memorial features a Memorial Courtyard, Survivors’ Garden and Contemplation Basin in remembrance of the Emanuel Nine. Golf helps build a community. The sport certainly inspires me to grow deeper connections with my local Charlotte and business community. When I met up with Martin Welton and Mickey Faulk back during the President’s Cup, we spoke about what is on the horizon for our industries, especially the demand for an improved customer experience that enhances the lives of every individual we come in contact with. Similar to golf, looking for ways to continuously improve our game (or business) to positively impact our communities is more important than ever. I challenge you to think about: When was the last time you felt as though you were truly a part of a supportive community, and why? Golf and Dexian are two common threads that come to mind for me over the past 25+ years. At the end of the day, we all want to feel a part of something bigger than a title. As humans, we strive for connection, support, and purpose – no matter what we set out to accomplish. #Golf #SalesLeader #Charlotte #QuailHollow #Leadership
