2023 has been a non-stop year 😅 From taking on huge projects, Stepping out of my comfort zone too many times to count And meeting 100’s of inspiring founders, change-makers and creatives. If I walk away from this year with anything, it would be these three lessons:  👉 You can often be the one holding yourself back from your full potential You know that thing you are afraid of, that’s the thing you should probably be doing to change your life for the better.  👉 Don’t plan out the journey, pick a direction and start taking action. I’ve spent way too long trying to figure out the next ten steps I should take to reach my goal. Instead, pick a goal, make a simple plan and start taking action.  👉 Find your allies and champions. If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together. Finding people aligned with your mission can do wonders. 🚀 Why keep waiting? It's time to take charge of your career journey. 🚀 From 2016-2022, I was the poster child for the 5 signs. 😔 I knew what I wanted, and my biggest excuse was, "It's never the right time." ⏳ I had 🅳🅰🅸🅻🆈 🅼🅴🅽🆃🅰🅻 🅱🆁🅴🅰🅺🅳🅾🆆🅽🆂. My overall well-being started to feel the consequences; I was not sleeping and new illnesses started to appear and doctors could not understand why. 😩 I constantly felt my energy had been replaced with exhaustion and I began to feel miserable. 😞 Playing the political game to be considered for promotions, fun projects, or development opportunities was not fun. 😒 I felt I could not be authentic; it was this feeling that I had to fit into a box of expectations and rules.😔 And somehow, when I thought of entrepreneurship and doing something big for humanity, my heart was filled with joy and my mind with ideas. 💡But it wasn't until the elimination of my position that I was forced to develop a plan to make it happen. Because, you see, things won't get better until you take action to make them better. In fact, they'll probably get worse. And you don't need to wait for your position to be made redundant to take the first step.   When we understand that there is more to life than the corporate world and that the limitations are in our heads, we can truly achieve whatever we want. 🌟Remember, your career should be a source of fulfillment and growth, not an energy drain. It's never too late to embark on a journey that empowers you. It's about: 🔹 Mastering your emotional intelligence 🔹 Transforming fears into a foundation of confidence 🔹 Being authentically you, without fear of judgment 🔹 Setting clear goals and actionable plans 🔹 Identifying and acquiring critical new skills It's time to take control and claim your PERSONAL FREEDOM. Would you like to know the secret sauce that has helped me be successful at what I do? ✅ I became a marathoner and an ultramarathoner. ✅ I became an author. ✅ I earned educational credentials to place myself as an expert in the field of health ad wellness coaching. ✅ I became a solopreneur (health and wellness coach and a writer), shifting from a 9-5 job to something that I love doing. ✅ I am growing followers on LinkedIn, and making good progress. ✅ I am getting better at content creation that serves my audience, apart from generating leads for me that convert into opportunities. ✅ And more importantly, I have got this abundance of motivation in me now that drives me to thrive better as an individual. Each one of these milestones has taken good deep work. So, what has been helping me? "Go deep in whatever you do with an undeterred faith and belief. Just do things for yourself, in your own interest. Don't look at anyone else. " The world is very good at observing, judging, and criticizing negatively. But the same world will look at you with admiration only after it sees you doing enough in your interest area.
