I first learnt about Amgen when I read "Science Lessons: What the Business of Biotech Taught Me About Management" by Gordon Binder and Philip Bashe, which details the early days of Amgen and #biotechnology. At the time, I was a confused undegrad at Pomona College trying to figure out where I wanted my #Biology degree to take me. This book sparked my curiosity about a career in the biotech industry, which is why it feels full circle to be joining Amgen all these years later as an Operations and Strategy Leadership Program MBA Intern this summer!
