I had an awesome adventure to the tree island of Chekika in Everglades National Park on our search for the tree snails! After our commute via airboat, we found a seemingly healthy population of snails (no flatworm predators were observed)! Unfortunately, thunderstorms cut our field surveys short! #research #conservation #scienceandenvironment #postdoc
