Want to give a shout out to one of my #Ranger buddies, Jacob Heinitz who runs his own business, is on the boards for Milwaukee Homeless Veterans Initiative and the USO of Wisconsin, and gives back quietly...selflessly...perpetually to those in need within the #military #community every day. He was on the ice last night at the Milwaukee Admirals game to receive a donation and he proudly represented Taskforce Uplift by sporting his TFU shirt! I remember sitting down at the table talking about the idea to spin TFU up in an effort to help out #veteran families and work in our community to close the digital divide. He's been by my side and steady council and a great friend ever since. Salute to you, Jake......thank you for all you do to keep the wolves away! -RLTW

When I started Taskforce Uplift in 2021 with a personal mission to help close the digital divide and break the poverty cycle in the #military #community I knew the ability to leverage professional partnerships within the corporate sector would be of critical significance to bring this to life. At the ServiceNow FedForum yesterday in DC, I finally had the chance to meet my battle buddy Herb Thompson and his partner in crime Corrie Burton in person! Pretty excited to share that our good friends at CVG Airport - Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport have been selected as a finalist for the 2024 IDC North America Smart Cities, Transporation and Infrastructure Category award for the data models we've been building at Tuatara Consulting, Inc.! Yesterday at Rockwell Automation's "IT Zone", Taskforce Uplift and Rockwell's MVAG (Military Veterans & Allies Group) kicked off a new partnership to refurbish and donate laptops to #veteran families in need. #Salute to Matthew Smith and Taylor Teasdale who have worked tirelessly to bring our organizations together and open a dedicated force to widen the national impact area and help close the #digitaldivide in our #military #communities!
