Date: February 2nd, 2024 Subject: Announcement of the 2023 CAPA Awardees Dear CAPA Members, It is with great pleasure and honor to announce the selection of five esteemed colleagues as recipients of the 2023 CAPA Awards. These awards celebrate exceptional contributions and outstanding achievements in the field of chemistry and chemical biology. The dedication, innovation, and excellence demonstrated by the five awardees have set a benchmark for excellence. 2023 CAPA Award Recipients: Prof. Guoliang Liu for the CAPA Distinguished Faculty Award Prof. Yang Yang for the CAPA Distinguished Junior Faculty Award (US) Prof. Chun-Xiang Zhuo for the CAPA Distinguished Junior Faculty Award (China) Prof. Jianfeng Cai for the Okeanos-CAPA Senior Investigator Award at the Chemistry and Biology Interface Prof. Xue Gao for the Okeanos-CAPA Young Investigator Award at the Chemistry and Biology Interface I would also like to extend my deepest gratitude to the award committee, chaired by Prof. Jianmin Gao, for their diligent and thoughtful evaluation process. Special thanks to the committee members: Profs. Wenfang Sun, Qian Wang, Ming Xian, and Weiping Tang, whose expertise and insights have been invaluable in selecting this year's distinguished awardees.
