5 Ways to Get Anything and Everything in the World

5 Ways to Get Anything and Everything in the World

During my seminars in Houston, San Antonio, Dallas, and El Paso, Texas last week, I asked my audience this question: "What must you do to get what you want?"

Undoubtedly, hundreds of people in my audiences reported basically the same answer: "Work harder."

I wasn't surprised by their answer, because it was the same answer which I previously held before I learned about what it really took to become successful. After all, working hard is the way that most people get what they want in life.

However, they were wrong, just like I was when I began. You don't have to work harder or smarter to get what you want in life, instead, you have to know what you want and write it down.

As their jaws were dropped, I told them that those who know what they want the most tend to write them down. I related this to them by admitting that most people write down a list of what they want before they go grocery shopping.

It all made sense to them.

The truth is that only 3% of people only get what they set out for. In this world of wealth, things are not gotten by money, but by desire. A $50,000 car may be considered expensive to many, but not to those who have deeply desired luxury for many years.

In the back of my journal, I have a list of all of the things that I want. Somehow and some way, I am always able to cross something off of my list every week. I do not always set out to buy some of the items that are listed, but I can admit that certain things start to appear to me, and I do buy them if they are what I want.

Some would call this "The Law of Attraction."

Besides writing down the things that you want, there's much more that you have to do. Here are the only 5 things that you can control internally to get what you desire the most:

1. What You Think: What do you think about most of the time? What have you been daydreaming about recently? Do your predominate thoughts focus in on what you want, or do you find your mind dilapidated after moments of useless thoughts?

Key: You become what you think about. If your mindset is focused on what you want the most, you will likely manifest it in your life within a short period of time.

2. What You See: We all think in images. What do you see yourself doing in 5 years? Who do you see yourself becoming? Can you imagine yourself wearing the finest clothes or driving the best cars? Do you see people as good or evil?

Key: You can what you imagine. If you see money coming into your bank account, it will. If you see happy faces in your mind, you'll meet better people too.

3. What You Say: What you say gives you preeminent power over what you get. If you talk like you are going to win, then you will. If you say that you are strong, healthy, and wise, then you are. Speak boldly

Key: Most people talk themselves out of success when they get with their friends. Speak forcibly and talk only in results. Words have prospering power. Don't waste them.

4. How You Feel: Your emotions can completely make you or break you. Most people are ruled by their emotions. You can either get mad over a certain condition and waste precious time or you can fix it and move on to your next target.

Key: Your emotions always demand action. Whether you are happy, angry, tired, or even awesome, your emotion will make you act either positively or negatively.

5. How You Act: My mentor once asked me, "How would the person that you would like to be do the things you are about to do?" Are you acting like your best self? Are you treating the things that you already have with respect?

Key: If you walk and talk like a millionaire, you will become a millionaire. Don't psyche yourself out by believing and not achieving. Action brings results.

Conclusion: What you think, what you see, what you say, how you feel, and how you act largely dictates your success. In the end, you must know what you want. You can only get to a certain location if you know where you're going.

Don't look outside of yourself to find the answers. Everything that you need to succeed is within. Look at your strengths and find what you love to do the most. Eventually, you'll find a way to earn money at it and get what you want along the way!
