A Bird In Hand is worth two in Bush

A Bird In Hand is worth two in Bush

A bird in hand is already yours and it’s not going anywhere else unless you let it go. Despite that if you become a bit greedy and try for other birds in the bush. Then the chances are that you might end up losing the one in your hand. And there is no guarantee that you would catch the other two birds in the bush. So just concentrate.

A similar concept is applicable in the retail sphere as well. So instead of taking doubtful decisions to add more and more to your store, just keep the existing inventories on the shelf with utmost care. Your customers need you like never before. Treat them like your own girlfriend. What I mean to say is that if a customer is your girlfriend, won’t you respond with the speed of a formula one car? Won’t you address her every problem? Won’t you be marching ahead with plans to woo her in every possible way? And the list goes on.

Their problems are surely your problem as well. If you don’t have empathy for them then you may end up on the losing side. And why should you care about it? Let me explain why?

One simple reason, you will end up losing them forever. If you dare to not care then they would surely go elsewhere. They will take your carelessness and slow response as an act of betrayal. Your retail store and customers share a deep and platonic relationship. Respect them by ensuring right things at the right time.  Always be one step ahead of them to keep the relationship intact and thriving.
