Serbian furniture brands side by side with worlds’ most powerful furniture names

The imm Cologne (internationale möbelmesse) represents the most important furnishing show in the furnishing market and it also presents the new international furniture and interior trends. Its distinct business atmosphere and high standards of service and organization are appreciated by the trade visitors. Within the third week of January, the fair is the epicenter of the international furnishing and design world.

This year, members of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Serbia (CCIS) group of panel furniture manufacturers, three distinguished companies - Jela Jagodina, Forma Ideale and Matis Group, proudly showcased their products under the Colognes' lights.

Our companies have made over 350 business contacts within the duration of the fair. Representatives of all the companies. exhibitors, agree that this fair will certainly boost production, increase export and ope new markets for Serbian products. In 2020, forma Ideale is celebrating 25 years in business, and its Jubilee results are impressive, company exports 80 percents of its furniture to four continents and more than 50 countries.

"The Cologne fair will enable the Serbian furniture industry to expand and occupy more significant positions in the European and international markets. Investments in marketing encourage further production and boost exports while giving other companies an incentive to get more significantly involved in new processes and find market positions for themselves," said the CCIS group's Vice President Miroljub Radovanovic, who is also the owner of Jela Jagodina.

Matis Group, exhibiting for the first time in imm Cologne, introduced just one part of its program, which includes over 1200 diverse products.

One of the most important trend that is going on in this moment is catching its’ big steps on imm Cologne.The new era of the whole world of furniture interior design begins on the Cologne fair and it is called the digital era.

The long term goal of the trade fair is to create its own area of focus for the digital economy and offer online traders, platforms and portals, as well as suppliers a dedicated forum. Not only is it important for all participating exhibitors to get to grips with digital trends, platforms, portals and the key future issue of e-commerce, imm Cologne is also drawing its visitors’ attention to new market opportunities and future markets .“ it is stated in the „New line-up at imm Cologne 2020“, Official blog

Also, four most important trends in term of living are proposed on this imm Cologne: more natural, greener, smarter, more efficient living.

„An ever increasing number of people are seriously attempting to change their consumer behaviour in order to initiate a trend turnaround toward a sustainable society. Consumer decisions with regard to mobility, mobile phone or nutrition, just as much as for furniture, are being increasingly evaluated under the aspect of climate neutrality. The story behind the product, the storytelling, is thus becoming more important all the time.“  - experts say.
