"Info-box" opens in Luxembourg City
The Luxembourg City Info-box has opened in the capital, offering residents, visitors and shopkeepers information on current construction work, bus services and more.
(CS) The Luxembourg City Info-box has opened in the capital, offering residents, visitors and shopkeepers information on current construction work, bus services and more.
The Info-box houses the bus ticket office, which was formerly located in the Aldringen centre underneath the Hamilius bus station.
It will also be the office of the construction site mediators, employed by the City of Luxembourg as a port of call for locals and shopkeepers with questions or complaints about the construction works currently taking place in the capital.
There is also information material available on the progress of construction, how it affects traffic and public transport, as well as the plans for future construction sites, with the demolition of the Centre Hamilius and construction of the tram set to start in 2013.
The Info-box is located next to the post office in the Rue de la Poste. The bus ticket office is open Monday to Friday from 7am to 7pm and Saturdays from 7.30am to 2pm, with the mediation office open Monday to Friday from 8am to 6.30pm and Saturdays from 8.30am to 5pm.
