Renowned attorney Gloria Allred has announced that she will be representing the family of the alleged minor girl involved in the Josh Giddey saga. This news comes after it was reported by TMZ that the family was unwilling to cooperate with an investigation launched by the Newport PD. Allred confirmed her representation of the family to the media outlet, stating: "We represent the family, and we have no comment."

For those unfamiliar with Gloria Allred, she is a highly respected female attorney in the United States. Born and raised in Los Angeles, California, Allred obtained her bachelor's degree from the University of Pennsylvania in 1963, followed by a Master's from New York University in 1966 and a Law degree from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles.

In addition to women's rights cases, AM&G also represents clients who have faced discrimination based on their sex, race, age, physical handicap, or sexual orientation. They have taken on cases involving sexual harassment, AIDS discrimination, and wrongful termination. Allred is also the president of the Women's Equal Rights Legal Defense and Education Fund, an organization that she founded.

She has been awarded two President's awards, one from the National Association of Women's Lawyers and another from former President Ronald Reagan at the White House for Outstanding Voluntarism in 1986.

Allred has also been nominated for three Emmy Awards for her commentaries on KABC Television LA. Her TV show, 'We The People With Gloria Allred,' even received a Daytime Emmy nomination in 2012. In 2014, she was honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award from The National Trial Lawyers.
