NOATUM Appoints Its Executive Chairman and Six Independent Directors

Chris Gray appointed as Executive Chairman of the Boards of Directors. Javier Mira Prieto-Moreno, José María Michavila Núñez, Antonio González-Adalid García Zozaya, Juan José Nieto Bueso, Borja García-Nieto Portabella and Luis Conde Moller appointed as Independent Directors.

NOATUM, the leader in maritime terminals, port operations and port services in Spain, has appointed six independent Directors and an Executive Chairman to the Noatum Boards of Directors. .

Chris Gray, who has been appointed as the Executive Chairman of Noatum, brings with him over 40 years’ experience in international transport and maritime industry and will be in charge of chairing the Boards of Directors for Noatum in this new phase the company has entered.

Javier Mira Prieto-Moreno has developed his professional career at the Mutua Madrileña group, where he currently serves as Head of Asset Management. He started his career at the investment and pension fund firm belonging to the Mutuactivos group (the leading financial entities firm in terms of volume of assets managed) where he rose to the post of Managing Director. He has held his present position since 2008.

José María Michavila Nuñez is a member of the Spanish National Legal Council; he is an expert in banking law, and studied at Harvard University and the London School of Economics, he is currently practicing lawyer. Between 1996 and 2004 Mr Michavila was member of the Spanish Government, first serving as Secretary of State for Parliamentary Relations, then as Secretary of State for Justice and finally as Justice Minister.

Antonio González-Adalid García-Zozaya is a graduate in Naval Engineering (Universidad Politécnica de Madrid) and holds a MBA from IESE (Barcelona). At present, González-Adalid is Vice-President and CEO of Cartera Industrial Rea S.A. He has also been President of Enagas and Executive -Deputy Chairman of Gas and Electricity at Repsol YPF.

Juan José Nieto Bueso is chairman of Service Point Solutions, a founding partner of Arcano and President of Arcano Capital SGER. He is also an independent Chairman and President of the Audit Committee of Uralita.

Borja García-Nieto Portabella is a founding partner and President of the financial Group Riva y García. He has developed his professional career in finance, heading several Corporate Finance and Venture Capital teams. Moreover, he is Chairman and President of Reaseguros Commission National Audit. Also he is President of Equestrian Circle and President of Advisory Council from the Universidad Abat Oliba de Barcelona.

Luis Conde Moller as founding partner and President of Seeliger y Conde, he is a specialist in executive search and succession planning for family businesses. Moreover, he is President of advisory board of Amrop. Luis Conde is currently President of the International Salón Náutico de Barcelona and Director of the Lazard Investment Bank and of the Godó Group.
