Tech. Sgt. Cesar Flores, 384th Air Refueling Squadron boom operator, has been in the Air Force for more than nine years and has been stationed at McConnell for more than one year. His hobbies include fishing, working out, shooting, reading, family activities, flag football and constantly upgrading his home improvement skills.

Who is the most positive influence in your life and why?
My wife, Leticia, for being the best wife/mother/friend a person could ever have. She was a key spouse for the past year, and even when I was deployed, her focus was to keep fellow spouses informed and in good spirits.

What would you like to accomplish during your Air Force career?
In the short term I would like to finish my bachelor's degree in the next 12 months and become an expert in my somewhat new career field. In the long term I would like to become a chief master sergeant and help every Airman under my supervision perform at their full potential.

Where is the most interesting place you have traveled and why do you feel that way?
The most interesting place I have travelled is Iraq because the country is so surreal. It has so many ancient cities and is the birthplace of some biblical figures and yet, there was so much violence while I was there.

What is your favorite book/ movie and why?
My favorite book is "Sympathy for the Devil" by Kent Anderson because it gives an honest perception of the war in Vietnam through the eyes of a special forces operator. My favorite movie is "Office Space" because of the subtle humor.

If you have the opportunity to meet anyone in the world, who would it be and why?
Airman 1st Class William H. Pitsenberger because his Medal of Honor citation is the most heroic act I've ever heard. Meeting such a brave and incredible human being that sacrificed his life in the manner that he did for complete strangers would be a great honor.
