Kevin McEnerney,
President

Managing money institutionally since 1985, The McEnerney Group is the result of Kevins' passion to help families define their core values and then works with the families’ advisors to ensure those values are reflected in their planning. While on his career path Kevins’ vision was to create a wealth management firm, which cared for clients’ wealth-care in the same way as the doctors cared for their patients’ healthcare. This vision came to fruition with the creation of The McEnerney Tax Advisory Firm in 2003, the predecessor to The McEnerney Group. It was after over 25 years in the wealth management business that Kevin refined his vision and developed the Family Investment company TMG is today.

Kevin has spent over 30 years in the investment management business, helping clients attain their financial goals. Kevin’s background and experience in the areas of income planning and retirement has given him a unique standing in the industry.

Kevin graduated from Bowling Green University in 1980 with a degree in Education and Economics. Kevin started his career with Merrill Lynch, Pierce, Fenner, & Smith in Manhattan before being recruited by UBS Paine Webber, where he spent the next 13 years. Kevin then joined the Private Banking Industry with Am South Bank covering the Central Florida Region.

Kevin has three children: Kelly, Dylan, and Jessica.. Kevin enjoys spending time with his family, watching Notre Dame Football, and playing golf.

Janet (McEnerney) Witteck,
Vice President

Janet along with her brother Kevin founded The McEnerney Group. After owning her own restaurant for ten years, Janet worked the next ten years for Merrill Lynch Private Client Group in Vero Beach FL, delivering world class service and enhancing client relationships . She then moved to Prudential for five years before she and Kevin decided to open their firm. She holds a Florida Life and Annuity license. Janet has been married for more than 35 years, has three children and two granddaughters. She is originally from Huntington, NY and has been a resident of Vero Beach since 1982. In her spare time, Janet likes to spend time with her granddaughters, and is an avid runner who enjoys the great outdoors.

James L. McEnerney Jr.
Strategic Development Analyst

Jim has over 36 years’ experience in the financial industry including 29 years with Merrill Lynch Private Client Group where he was a Senior Vice President and Resident Director for Kansas City, Missouri. He also spent 7 years at Wells Fargo Advisors as an interim Market Manager where he was selected as a Regional Premier Manager, reflecting a superior level of professional achievement with a steadfast commitment to strategic development.

Jim is a graduate of Roanoke College, Salem, Virginia with a B.A. in Economics. Additionally, As an employee at the McEnerney Group he acts in the capacity of stategic development analyst.

Jim, his family; daughters Mary Katherine, Broghan Lee, Mary Margaret, Aidan Christine and son Seamus, live in Overland Park, Kansas.

Amie Mocere,
Client Operation Specialist

An integral member of the McEnerney Group since inception, Amie is the backbone of operation support and serves as Director of Operations for the firm. She provides client support, performance reporting and assists in compliance. She also maintains control procedures and performs data integrity audits to ensure accuracy. 

Prior to working with McEnerney Group, she attended Florida State University and graduated with honors from West Shore Junior Senior High School in Melbourne, FL.

When Amie isn’t working, she enjoys spending time with her son, Jackson. Amie is an active member of her church and also enjoys reading and watching FSU football.
