Obituary for Maureen E. Krajeski (Brady)

Maureen E.  Krajeski (Brady)
Maureen E. Krajeski, 74, a resident of Hopewell Junction since 2002 and formerly of Cortlandt Manor and Yonkers, died on Saturday, January 25, 2014 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center.
Born in Yonkers on November 29, 1939, she was the daughter of Francis and Irene Parisee Brady. Maureen was employed as a Licensed Practical Nurse until her retirement in 2001. She was a parishioner of St. Columba Church in Hopewell Junction. She enjoyed traveling, reading and walking, but she especially loved every moment that she spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
On May 8, 1960 at St. Peter’s Church in Yonkers, Maureen married Walter J. Krajeski who predeceased her on January 27, 1999. She is survived by her sons, Walter Krajeski and his wife Susan of Big Sandy, TN, Michael Krajeski and his wife Sandra of Wappingers Falls, and Christopher Krajeski of Cortlandt Manor; her brother, Edward Brady of Mahopac; her sister, Janet Viggiano and her husband Joe of Wappingers Falls; her grandchildren, Maddison and Joe Lawrence, Victoria and Luke Holloman, Colton and Rita Krajeski, Michael P. Krajeski, and Marshal Krajeski; her great-grandchildren, Vera Lawrence and Andrew Holloman; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Calling hours will be held on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday at 10am at St. Columba Church, 835 Route 82, Hopewell Junction followed by interment in Assumption Cemetery.
