Hillfort in Northumberland

From SolarMegalith: This Iron Age hillfort occupies a very dramatic location, it is visible from miles away (even from Rothbury). It has a single bank and a poorly preserved ditch (its most obvious sector is in the SE part of the hillfort). I think that the small entrance at the west might be original, as the hillfort itself is of modest size and the eastern/western orientations of the entrances are very common in the Iron Age enclosures.

Tosson Burgh hillfort is signposted from the village of Great Tosson.
