On the other hand, the director general of ITA, Francisco Pinto Leite, stressed the intention of continuing to be a partner of the state for the development of technologies in the country, having recalled that ITA has been in Angola for 16 years as a telecommunications operator investing in robust infrastructures and investing in the expansion of fiber optic networks, in the construction of a datacenter, among others.

"We are in line with the government's strategy to transform Angola as a leader in communication and information technologies in Africa”, said Pinto Leite, adding that it is ITA's intention to cover the national territory, and is currently extending the fiber optic network to border areas, highlighting the arrival of fiber optics in the town of Nóqui, province of Zaire.

It should be noted that the Tech Hub Forum is a co-organization of the Ministry of Telecommunications and Information and Communication Technologies (MINTTICS) and ITA (Internet Technologies Angola) and is part of the signing of the first International Telegraph Convention in 1865.
