ONLINE CHECK-IN
Online check-in is convenient process that every passenger could check-in themselves and choose preferred seats on the flight you are flying.
Importance of online check-in
- Online check-in provides you to avoid standing in the long queues at the airport
- Using any internet access, every passenger will be able to reserve their seats on the flight and print out boarding passes
- By using online check-in, passengers will be able to check-in themselves up to two days to 2 hours prior to the scheduled departure time.
How to check-in yourself online?
Passengers will be able to check them in just visiting www.miat.com and clicking Online Check-In service button.
Online check-in is unavailable when below listed circumstances, passengers must reach at the check-in counter at the airport.
- Travelling with other airline
- Travelling on codeshare flights operated by partner airlines
- Travelling with charter flights.
- Unconfirmed ticket
- Travelling on domestic flights
- Requesting additional/special airport services such as travelling with pets, wheelchair assistance, etc
Basic requirements for online check-in:
- Passengers must have an electronic ticket
- Must be scheduled international flight operated by MIAT Mongolian Airlines
- Passengers will be recommended to visit the website of the operator when you are traveling with flights operated by partner airlines
If you are eligible on above listed online check-in requirements, following service steps will be able to use up to 2 days to 2 hours prior to scheduled departure time:
- Enter your full name and booking reference (PNR) or electronic ticket number
- Review your itinerary and select name that you wish to check-in
- If you are a member of Blue Sky Mongolia, enter your membership number/frequent flyer number
- Select your preferred seat
- Select your nationality and enter travel document information
- Print out your electronic boarding passes or save the screenshot of them
- After successful check-in, please log out from the website
- If online check-in is unsuccessful, please reach to the check-in counter at the airport.
After your successful online check-in, you will be able to print your boarding pass, change your seat number and remove check-in status by your own.
At the Airport:
If you have check-in luggage or print your boarding pass, go to MIAT Mongolian Airlines Online check-in counter 90 minutes before departure to check-in your luggage and print your boarding pass.
NOTICE to Passengers:
- If you are a business class passenger or a Platinum, Gold, Silver member of the Blue SKY Mongolia program, you can use the Business Class Lounge or waiting room with a printed seat ticket or a certified photo.
- If you print your boarding pass yourself and go to the passenger boarding gate, please be sure to be checked at airport security and inspection checkpoint of travel document
