Item Description

A few spots of the beautiful hydrated lead copper carbonate sulfate, Caledonite in the form of greenish-blue color crystals on host rock matrix. The largest Caledonite measures 5 mm, and it's clearly crystallized in areas. Some of the very small Caledonites are excellent crystallized examples of the species. They look beautiful under the microscope, and we did our best to illustrate their quality in the micro photos. These are sought after by collectors for their wonderful color and rarity on the market. What is the value of such a rich and hard to find specimen from this well known locality?
