Gallite is an ultra-rare Cu-Ga sulfide and the famous Tsumeb Mine is the Co-type Locality with the Kipushi Mine of the Democratic Republic of Congo. It is another of the rarities for which Tsumeb is renowned. It usually occurs in sufides as minute gray grains or is massive. The older label is from the respected American Museum. The hefty masssive germanite ore contains gallite and numerous sections of brassy pyrite crystals. 67 grams mass. Specimens of this richness and combination quality are seldom available.
