The Motorola Gleam+ (model number WX308) was one of the last devices to be announced by Motorola before it was fully acquired by Google. It was a successor to the Gleam clamshell phone that had been launched a year earlier. Motorola described the Gleam+ as being “stylish and easy to use, for the consumer who enjoys the simple things in life.” The stand-out feature was the LED matrix display on the front of the phone that could display the time and other notifications. Motorola Gleam Plus Official Picture The Gleam+ was a dual band 2G-only phone at a time 3G was becoming established. It had no Wi-Fi and a basic two-megapixel camera. Despite Motorola claiming the phone was fully HTML compatibility, it had very basic Internet access via a WAP 2.0 browser.
