xsok
Description
xsok is an open source expanded clone of Sokoban for the X-Window system on Linux and other flavours of Unix. It contains three primary level sets:
Sokoban levels are the same levels as traditional Sokoban. The objective is to move each box onto its designated destination. The level is considered completed when this occurs. Each box can only be pushed, not pulled, and multiple boxes cannot be pushed together.
Cyberbox levels are clones of levels from a DOS game of the same name. This mode uses boxes that can only be pushed in a specified direction, as well as pushers that automatically move boxes, one-way arrows and a few other mechanics. Unlike traditional Sokoban, multiple boxes can be pushed together. The objective is to reach the exit, not to place boxes in designated locations.
Xsok levels are unique to xsok. They may combine any combination of the above mechanics, as well as several new elements. In general, all traditional Sokoban boxes must be placed on their designated spots then reach the exit. Some of the additional mechanics in this mode include teleporters, 'no block' or 'no player' squares, and a strength mechanic which controls which types of boxes you can push.
