When obtaining an FBI Background Check for international use, particularly in Hague Convention countries, an Apostille may be required. This serves as a certification that your documents are authentic. Typically, the requesting country will inform you if this is necessary. If uncertain, a list of Hague Convention countries is available for reference here.
The Hague Convention comprises various international treaties requiring member countries to recognize documents bearing an Apostille. Therefore, if you’re traveling to a country that is part of this convention, your FBI Background Check may require an Apostille to be accepted.

Certification in 4 Business Days (Please refer to the Department of State Notice Above) **
We can obtain the certification within 4 business days from the day we receive your order. If you receive your Background Check by email, please be sure to download and save the PDF to your computer first. You can then upload the PDF to our order form to be apostilled or authenticated. If you receive your Background Check by mail, you will need to mail this document to our office for processing.

2. Complete the online Order form. You can upload documents directly to the form. When completed, click submit at the bottom of the form. You will then be taken to the payment page.
3. Once you submit your order form and payment, one of our specialists will make sure everything is filled out properly, send you a confirmation email, and start processing immediately. Please check your spam folder for the confirmation email if you do not see it in your inbox.
NOW AVAILABLE: FBI CRC Translations into Spanish, Portuguese, etc.:
$40.00 per page. Please be sure to count the apostille page when totaling the number of pages to be translated. If you need the translation apostilled, that would be an additional $55.00.
Guidelines/Essential Information on FBI Apostilles
- If you received a digital copy (PDF) of your FBI CRC from an FBI Channeler or the FBI, you can upload the PDF to the order form below. We will print an original copy and have it apostilled by the US Department of State.
- If you only received a hard copy and have to mail your FBI. Please make sure to mark YES on the order form when asked if you will be mailing documents to us.
- If your FBI is password protected, please type the password in the special instructions section.
- If you don’t receive a confirmation email within an hour of submission (During normal business hours (M–F, 9am –5pm Eastern), please email: support@monumentvisa.com: Orders received during the overnight hours will be processed starting at 7am eastern and will be submitted to the Department of State that same morning. Please be sure to check your Spam/Junk folder if you do not see a confirmation email from us.
