Harley's best engine, wrapped up in a nicely-tuned package.

Yellow may not be everyone's preferred motorcycle color, but that shouldn't distract you from this 2011 Harley-Davidson VRSC-F. A one-owner motorcycle, this owner has done some tasteful mods to bring out the most from arguably one of Harley's best engines. With less than 20,000 miles on the odometer and maintenance well taken care of, this should be a nice ride for whoever wants it next. See the original listing at our sister site 1130cc.com to get more information and to contact the seller.

2011 VRSC-F Muscle 1 owner excellent condition$8,500 USD

Lacombe, Louisiana

Bought brand new, it was still wrapped in the shipping plastic when my wife and I were at Harley Davidson Las Vegas in August of 2010. We saw the beautiful "chrome yellow" paint and the hair stood up on my arms, I had to have it! It was awesome riding the desert mountain roads between Lake Mead and Las Vegas, and really added to the enjoyment of our vacation there. I rode it back home to Louisiana, stopping in Kingman, AZ for the 600 mile "break-in" oil and filter change, and used it fairly regularly for a couple of years.

Now I'm in my 8th year of my one man small business, I have other "toys" that occupy the very limited free time I have, and we don't ride our V-Rods like we used to, especially me, so we're selling both of them. I'm also putting her 2006 Screamin' Eagle V-Rod up for sale here.

The only mods to my V-Rod are the TTS MasterTune software, which I spent about 8 hours at H&D Cycles in Lillian, Alabama on the dyno having the tuning map made by Heath (the "H" in H&D). I got there with a full tank of premium gas and Heath was so meticulous, and took so much time to build the perfect map, I had to refuel it on the dyno.

"Doc", the guy who taught mechanics to use the TTS software told me that Heath was THE best mechanic close to New Orleans to use that software, so I rode it over to H&D because I want the best. I have Vance & Hines dual exhaust on it and installed the Amsoil high flow air filter there, and it is "topless" along with a small 1½" square fresh air inlet cut in the top of the 2 shields in the front scoops. Oracle did the LED kit on it and featured it on their YouTube channel:

Dyno results are 121 HP and 86 Ft. Lbs. at the wheel. It runs great, sounds amazing, and I have always done oil and filter changes in less miles than required, exclusively using Mobil 1 V-Twin full synthetic oil. It has a new Perelli Diablo 240 rear tire and a Continental Race Attack front tire on it, using internal beads for balancing. I also have the H-D front windshield for it, which I used at first but later decided I preferred to feel the breeze. It comes with 2 key fobs, 1 remote control for the LED lights, and has the factory alarm system.

I wish we both had more time to ride, but we find ourselves in the 65 GTO and 70 Roadrunner in what time we have, so our V-Rods are going to a very fortunate new home, it could be YOU!

17,680 miles.

A nice looking bike, but those power numbers aren't that different than an Indian Scout or Sportster S, and those can be had new, with warranties. Which is good since most of us don't have this owner's connections - or funds. My takeaway is that this motor wasn't fully appreciated within HD and the result was a wasted opportunity and the reinvention, in the guise of the rev max motor, of something they already had in the V-Rod twin.
