Micronema 20Ml

Qualitative & quantitative composition Each 10ml contains Sodium Citrate BP 450mg, Sodium Lauryl Sulphate BP 75mg, Glycerin BP 90% v/v.  

Therapeutic indications: Constipation and fecal incontinence. Preparation for surgery, delivery and radiology of the abdomen. Cases here excretion due to defecation must be avoided such as pregnancy, hernia etc.  

Contraindications: If you are allergic to any of the other ingredients of this medicine. Not to be used in case of hemorrhoidal attack. 

Special warnings and precautions for use: Excessive use of MICRONEMA may cause diarrhea and fluid loss. In such cases. MICRONEMA should be discontinued, and appropriate therapy instituted. 

Interaction with other medicinal products and other forms of interaction: Prolonged use may interfere with absorption of some vitamins. 

Fertility, pregnancy and lactation: Indicated for use in constipation in obstetrics. 

Effects on ability to drive and use machines: Not applicable.  

Undesirable effects: Very Occasionally, a slight cramp may occur. Prolonged use may lead to irritation of the anal canal. 

Overdose: Not applicable. 

Pharmacological properties: Pharmacodynamic properties: Sodium citrate is a 'peptizing' agent which liberates water present in the faeces. Sorbitol enhances this action. Sodium lauryl Sulphate is a wetting agent. Glycerol promotes peristalsis and evacuation of the lower bowel.
