Oven-Roasted Garlic Clams with Charred English Muffins
This one might strike you as odd. But if I told you a story behind this recipe--"This little seafood joint is owned by a guy who owns a pizza parlor in town. He makes a great chowder. One night he ran out of oyster crackers, so he buttered up some English muffins to serve with the soup."--and then I showed you this recipe, you might think we've conjured up the next interpretive culinary legend. Really, the dish is just a great conversation starter. And it's delicious.
